During filming of this video it was a nice surprise to see so many FL class 70s, I'm sure you will enjoy the video seeing the locos at speed, but it was a bit windy at times.

The freight was very good for the two hours I was there but I was also busy moving about to get different shots of the freight coming through the station. You will see in the video the problem I had, and I was was pleased it only happened the once.

Stafford station is good at most times of the day, but at night its very good most night of the week, but I went a bit to early so next time I will go later.

All info in the video, I could understand more about the Jobsworth doing what she did if there was a train coming down platform 3, but nothing was due for about eight mins.

What Livery is she going into next?
Do you know why the GBRf Class 50's are changing liveries and do you know what liveries are going to be?
They are being changed into the British railways livery, yellow front and sides of the cab. The 2 middle sides will be painted blue with a big white British rail sign in the middle. They are being changed due to The class 50 Alliance wanting to put them in a more famous livery relating to their past. Apparently they will still work in partnership with GBRf though 😊
@@TrainsAtTrimley-eastSuffolk Thanks for the information. But why blue colours and a white Logo? I have seen these colours before on different locos and can they paint it into a different colour like pink and call it The Pink Panthers!
@@williamfrost4757 Probably because most older people remember them in that livery. Will draw more crowds in. It's mostly only newer locomotives that they paint into new and very different livery's. It wouldn't look right to be honest for the class 50 (which there are very few of left) If they did get painted into pink. Besides there's already a pink class 66 in the UK.

Great video Mike. It’s strange why your cam played up but fortunately it seems it was only a blip and one off. As we know it is a good stretch of line for freight.

Brilliant assortment there Mike!! Lots of 70s which I love, definitely my favourite freight locomotive and some brilliant shots there to! Definitely quite unlucky with the double 70 there but none the less some great footage and sounds! That shot of the 66 at Didcot screaming by was excellent too!! Interesting to see an LNWR 230 in RTCD as well

It's a busy line for sure, was on the Nuneham viaduct project and once the track was reopened I looked after the site for the de-mob and landscaping, an awesome summer of trains and moto cross 😎

Been to Radley Many times and you can hear those Class 70's miles away! I might go to Radley in July I just have to plan it out first before I go there.

Simply fantastic shots and spots Mike, god you must have seen half the Freightliner 70 fleet! But nice to start with a Redshed and then caych some more. @@antman09ful1 Mike I film mainly in automatic on all my cameras in clear sky's with cloud like this week when I film the Kingsbury tanks and the Tesco train ie 4E49 same the blue waggon are in shot the sky bleached out ie highlights if you get a gap between containers it returns normal until the next batch of containers This happens when filming head on I've noticed a shot at a 90 degree angle seems fine but doesn't give you the best type of shot If you have any ideas I'd be really geartful Steve
Steve I know what you are getting at as it happens to me, like you I go for the easy life and film on automatic, when the sky is brighter than the train try zooming onto the subject a bit more. ATB Mike.
